How to delete your VoxCard account

Instructions to delete your account from the VoxCard Android app.

Prerequisites

• Have the VoxCard app installed on Android.
• Be signed in with your Google account.
• Your session must have an email address associated with it (your Google email).

Steps to delete your account

1. Open VoxCard and sign in with Google if you have not already.
2. Go to Profile (from the main menu).
3. Tap Delete VoxCard account.
4. Read the confirmation screen: it explains what data will be permanently lost.
5. Tap Send code by email.
6. You will receive a 6-digit code at your Google account email. The code expires in 15 minutes. If it does not arrive, check spam or tap Resend code.
7. Enter the code in the app.
8. Tap Delete my account.
9. After confirming, your account is permanently deleted and you are signed out on the device.

What is deleted

When you confirm with the code, the following are permanently deleted:

• Custom tutorials and decks (on device and in the cloud).
• Study progress and SRS history.
• VoxCard cloud backup.
• Auto-guide progress synced with your account.
• Premium status stored in VoxCard.
• Your VoxCard profile linked to that Google session.

Important: VoxCard account ≠ Google Play subscription

If you cannot complete the process

• Email not received: check spam, wait a few minutes, or tap Resend code.
• Code expired: request a new one (valid for 15 minutes).
• Wrong code: you have up to 5 attempts; then request a new code.
• No email on session: you cannot delete from the app; contact support.

Short version (Play Console / FAQ)

To delete your account: open VoxCard → Profile → Delete VoxCard account → Send code by email → enter the 6-digit code (valid 15 min) → Delete my account. Deletion is permanent. It does not cancel your Google Play subscription; cancel it in Google Play → Subscriptions.
